    nobody in their right mind cares about a silly status-tag called a knighthood.
    Force goodwin to return the money first and foremost that he squandered otherwise this revoking of his knighthood means nothing.
    He must be laughing his head of knowing he still got away with billions.

    Yes it was right to strip Goodwin of his gong; the timing stinks a bit, should have been done years ago. Others who have turned out to be no more than chancers should receive the same treatment. I bet the 'wifes of' will be quaking in their coffee-morning boots.

    As an addendum, I think the reason we have seen so few punishments for those who caused the financial crisis is because 'they were all in it together'.
