Among the results and updates that will be grabbing investors' attention will be Comet owner Kesa Electrical's half year numbers.
UBS is predicting a pre-tax profit of £12.6m with flat like-for-like sales at Comet, a 3% decline at France's Darty and a 9% fall in other markets.
Societe Generale predicts pre-tax profits of £12m and a 1.4% rise in Comet like-for-like sales, with Darty's down 4% and the rest of Europe's 10% lower.
Credit Suisse is tipping tenanted pub group Punch Taverns to serve up some positive news in its interim management statement.
