Rolls-Royce has scored yet another contract in Farnborough Air how week, this time with Synergy Aerospace, a Brazil-based conglomerate.

The UK power systems developer will provide Trent 700 engines and its Totalcare long-term engine service support package for nine Airbus A330 aircraft operated by Synergy.

The $630m contract marks the continuation of the two firms' relationship.

Of the nine aircraft ordered, six will be passenger and three freighter.

The contract win follows an announcement earlier in the day of an order for Trent 700 engines by Garuda Indonesia Airlines to power 11 A330 aircraft.

The share price fell 0.29% to 865p by 11:17. Shares are down nearly two per cent, or 17p, in the past week.
