    Very interesting.

    Misgiving I have is that they can have a rather dramatic affect on currencies and stocks.

    There was the Yen awhile back which dropped in value rather well if someone had shorted it. And of course the latest problems with the euro and dollar.

    For someone in the know, the rating could be quite advantageous to have to hand.

    Perhaps it needs a combination of politics and private?
