TechMARK movers: Biocompatibles rallies on Japan deal
Biocompatibles charged ahead Friday as the stent specialist granted Eisai an exclusive 12 month option to license its drug-eluting bead cancer treatment products in Japan.
The UK firm said during the option period Eisai will explore the regulatory and clinical requirements for product approval.
A fee will be paid to Biocompatibles on the signing of a licence and supply agreement if Eisai exercises the option, with further cash payable if reimbursement and sales milestones are hit.
IT services provider Computacenter said pre tax profit will be more skewed towards the second half, which may result in the first half being slightly below the same period last year.
"This is due to not achieving our revenue growth objectives to date, despite increased investments, and the increased proportion of Group profits generated in Germany, which have always been biased towards the second half of the year," said the group.
The group said during the first quarter, it experienced difficult trading in its UK and French subsidiaries when compared to last year.
