Enterprise Inns' interim results will be of particular interest following a sharp rise in the tenanted pub group's share price after it said it was now eligible for Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) status.
Worries such as the indoor smoking ban and weak consumer confidence still loom large though.
More clues on UK consumer spending will come from Italian restaurant Carluccio's interim results. It reported an 18% rise in turnover in the 16 weeks to January 13.
At the lower end of the food spectrum, bakers' chain Greggs issues a trading statement.
