TechMARK movers: NXT rallies on Toyota deal
Flat panel loudspeaker technology company NXT said Toyota is to fit NXT technology as standard on some models it is launching in Japan today.
The Toyota Alphard and Vellfire models will be added to the listed of Toyota models which use NXT technology. Two of the three new variants of the Alphard and Vellfire models launched in Japan today will have NXT-equipped roof liner speaker systems fitted as standard.
The Alphard and Vellfire models are predominantly sold in Japan but are also available in other Asian markets.
Educational computing specialist RM Group posted a decline in half year pre-tax profit while expectations for the full year remain unchanged.
Pre-tax profit fell to £0.2m for the six months to 31 March 2008 against a profit £5.6m the year before. Revenue rose to £117.7m from £115.6m the year before following significant growth at its Education Resources unit.
"Delays in some new product and service areas have shifted some revenue into the second half, this is a transitory effect though and the board's expectations for the full year remain unchanged," said RM in a company statement.
