TechMARK movers: Psion sees H1 in line
Psion said order intake in the first four months of 2008 has been strong and the mobile computing solutions firm expects that results for the first half will be in line with expectations.
The group said demand for its products, especially those addressing the Wide Area Mobile markets, is continuing to be buoyant.
"Subject to stable economic conditions, the group is well placed for long-term growth and improved returns to shareholders," said chairman David Potter.
Gearbox designer Torotrak has confirmed its participation in a collaborative project funded by the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) and the Department of Transport through the Low Carbon Vehicles Innovation Platform (LCVIP).
"Support by the TSB for this project will provide an excellent platform for demonstrating the applicability, benefits and commercial value of mechanical hybrid technology in mainstream vehicles," said chief executive Dick Elsy.
"Our membership of this consortium provides further validation of the application of our technology to kinetic energy recovery systems," he added.
