Ascribe gets NHS approval
Shares in health IT group Ascribe climbed Thursday after it announced a contract win from the National Health Service.
Ascribe was successful in its bid to supply Clinical Information Technology (CIT) services via the NHS's National Programme for IT Additional Supply Capability and Capacity (ASCC) framework agreement.
The programme will allow customers to order CIT services through a framework agreement directly from Ascribe or from a number of partners. The contract lasts for four year.

"The ASCC Framework Agreement adds another option to our English NHS customers for the procurement of services and we look forward to the opportunity of supplying through this route," said Stephen Critchlow, executive chairman of Axribe.
Critchlow added that the group's order book was already running at record levels from procurement processed outside of the ASCC and expected orders to grow further as a result of this contract win.
