TechMARK movers: Summers named CEO of Turbo Power
Turbo Power Systems advanced on news that the designer and manufacturer of power solutions has appointed a former director from Ultra Electronics Group as its new chief executive officer.
Paul Summers, formerly managing director of Ultra Electronics' Command & Control Systems unit, will assume the role of chief executive officer at the beginning of June, replacing Michael Hunt, who will step down from the board, though he will remain with the company as director of business development.
Prior to joining Ultra, Summers held management positions at Easams in Munich and Easams UK. He is a qualified engineer with over 20 years experience in high-tech and electronic systems companies.
Genetix was also up after the cancer diagnostic group said it has made a positive start to the year and remains confident of the outlook for the full year.
"We remain excited about the opportunities within our chosen markets and are making good progress with the company's research and development pipeline with the aim of enhancing our product range and delivering the competitive edge we provide to our customers," said chief executive Mark Reid.
