Restaurant Group bosses tuck in
Directors at Frankie and Benny's and Garfunkel's owner Restaurant Group beefed up their stakes in the company today.
Chief executive Andrew Page bought 47,319 shares at just over 147p each, paying a total of £69,575 and lifting his stake in the company to 317,485 shares, or around 0.16% of the company.
Finance director Stephen Critoph 22,414 shares, lifting his stake to 65,664 shares, Kevin Bacon, managing director for leisure, took 23,908 shares and now has 149,041, while Trish Corzine, managing director for Restaurant's airport operations, increased her stake by 20,920 shares to 121,343.
They also paid just over 147p a share.
Restaurant Group said Wednesday sales picked up in the first two months of 2008, but added it still expects a "tighter" market overall compared with 2007.
