Platinum price hit new record highs in London on Tuesday morning on supply fears over disruptions in South Africa.

The metal has gained more than 30% in the last year, heightened by the recent power shortages in South Africa, which has hit major platinum miners such as Anglo Platinum and Impala Platinum.
