Norcros directors buy after share price fall
Norcros directors have raised their stake in the household goods supplier, a day after shares fell around 20% on a profit warning.
Company secretary and director David Hamilton bought 400,000 shares at 42p each via his self invested personal pension. He now has a stake of 2.25m, which is 1.75% of the group.
Chief executive Joseph Matthews purchased 200,000 shares at 42p each to raise his take to 2.25m shares, or 1.75% of the company.
On Tuesday, the group said consumer uncertainty in the UK and power problems in South Africa will result in it missing trading profit forecasts this year.
The Triton shower and H&J Johnson tile and adhesives owner still expects full year group profit to be ahead of last year though and for earnings to match expectations after lower interest and tax charges.
