Government plans to introduce random breath testing for motorists were revealed last week. This comes on top of plans to do the same thing to amateur sailors. While this may strike fear into the hearts of less than law-abiding drivers, it could mean a boon for Concateno.

The company is the biggest UK and European drug and alcohol testing company. A joint venture with Phillips to develop a new roadside drug-testing device adds to the significant upside potential. Buy says the Sunday Telegraph.

RPS prides itself on position as Europe's biggest environmental consultancy. RPS should be able to report another year of impressive growth when it unveils full year results in March. With so many brokers pinning target prices some 100p above the current level, now is a good time to buy says the Sunday Telegraph.

Logistics software supplier Kewill Systems is in a business more dynamic than most and brokers believe the share price should be nearer to 125p than the current 79p. The group is also a likely bid target as the IT industry is consolidating fast. Buy says the Mail on Sunday.

Platinum miner Ridge Mining's output is set to hit 140,000 ounces a year from the end of 2008. Metals such as platinum are likely to keep value or rise in uncertain times. That makes Ridge Mining attractive. Buy and keep you fingers crossed says the Mail on Sunday.
