Sector movers: Real estate stocks weigh
Real estate stocks are putting on good gains today as hopes of an interest rate cut gives investors an excuse to buy.
Hammerson is doing well, while property giant Land Securities said high levels of activity had resulted in a continued strong performance across all three of its divisions in the past three months.
Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology is nursing losses with Shire Pharmaceutical, AstraZeneca and GlaxoSmithKline amongst the top ten fallers.
