Confident AT Communications CEO ups stake
AT Communications chief executive and founder Alex Tupman bought 400,000 shares in the business communications company after it announced 2007 results are expected to be in line with forecasts.
He bought the shares for 35p each.
The purchase brings his total holding to 12,997,044 shares, amounting to 16.85% of the company.
ATC said in its trading update today that it expected pre-tax profits of £6.2m for the year from sales of £89m.
"We have had a very clear strategy to date which has been focused on growing our product and service offering via select acquisitions to achieve UK wide coverage," Tupman said.
"Our prospects, looking forward, are very encouraging."
Alex Tupman founded ATC in 1999. It was admitted to AIM in 2005.
