Barratt directors show faith as stock exits FTSE 100
On the day the company is ejected from the FTSE 100 index, three Barratt Development directors made a defiant gesture of faith in the long term prospects of the company and topped up their holdings.
Group chief executive Mark Clare made the biggest purchase, splashing out just over £200,000 to buy 45,558 shares at 441.74p each. The purchase takes his holding to 172,726 shares.
Fellow directors Clive Fenton and Steven Boyes bought 6,669 and 6,714 shares respectively, with Fenton paying 446p per share and Boyes 443p.
