Low & Bonar directors buy following trading update
Two Low & Bonar directors have topped up their shareholdings following an upbeat trading statement by the group last week.
Kevin Higginson, group finance director, and Mark Sefton, divisional managing director of the Bonar Floors division, purchased 22,880 and 17,699 shares respectively, both at 113p each.
Following the purchases, Higginson holds 61,397 shares and Sefton 51,601.
The company's shares have perked up over the last week since the company gave a trading update in conjunction with its decision to acquire German-based technical coated fabrics firm MTX Group for €166m.
Low & Bonar has continued to make progress throughout the year, driven by organic growth and integration of acquisitions during 2006.
"The board is pleased to report that trading for the financial year ending 30 November 2007 is expected to be in line with its expectations," it added.
