Bill Bonner is the author of the acclaimed free daily email, The Daily Reckoning, and two best-selling books, Financial Reckoning Day: Surviving The Soft Depression of the 21st Century, and Empire of Debt: The Rise of an Epic Financial Crisis. Bill is also the founder and president of Agora Publishing, based in Baltimore, U.S.A. Agora Publishing owns MoneyWeek and Fleet Street Publications Ltd. in the UK.
Bill Bonner's enthusiasm for international travel, big ideas and a contrarian viewpoint is reflected in the company he has successfully built. In 1979 he began publishing International Living and Hulbert's Financial Digest. Since then Agora Publishing has grown to include dozens of publications - newsletters, reports and magazines - focussing on finance, health and travel. Since the early 1990s, Bill Bonner has vigorously expanded from Agora's home base in Baltimore, opening offices in London, Paris, Bonn, Ireland, South Africa, and most recently, Australia.
